The Third Leg of our Aussie Trip - April 2014

First Leg - 2012 Queensland     (Earlier Posts on this Blog)

Second Leg - 2013 Queensland to Exmouth (Posts on Facebook)

Third Leg - 2014 Perth to ..........

April 3 to May 7, 2014

After 4 months back at Straddie (Roy doing hail and me some holiday cleaning), we flew back to Perth to our van which was stored at the Forestfield Van Park.  Roy's cousin Jan and her husband Ray stored our vehicle at their home for the 4 months we were gone.  Then we were off again on our adventure......

We spent one week in Perth and another at Mandurah to the south, at the Hideaway Estuary Van Park where we met up with Tony Webster who we'd run into for the third time on our travels in the west.

Then we headed up to Cervantes for a few days, Jurien Bay and Dongara, both for 2 days.  It was pretty crowed over this period because of the Easter School holidays and Anzac Day breaks.  After leaving Dongara, the crowds have dropped off thank god.

A couple of days at Kalbarri, with so much to see - we ended up extending another day.  Then to Denham in Shark Bay for a week.

The weather has been against us most of the time.  We have been lucky though that it hasn't been too cold for long.  We've had some nice warm sunny days also.  At present though, its overcast, drizzly and cool.
